Bistrots d'Autrefois is located on the Left Bank, in Montparnasse, Paris, France. A place filled with history from the past, the one of bistros, cafés, brasseries, writers, painters, sculptors and of the owners childhood...

In the Middle Ages, students frequented Montparnasse and in the 18th century they named it the Mount Parnassus. Later on, from Montmartre, Saint Germain des Prés, Europe and North America, artists started to migrate towards Montparnasse.

At the turn of the 20th century, from Modern Style to Art Deco period, many cafés, brasseries and bistros opened, they became places of exchange for the "montparnos" releasing all their creativity thus.

Their talents were immense. They bequeathed us a beautiful artistic heritage.
